1. Sign up

Open the account page, choose a login and password, enter your e-mail and solve the short captcha sum. Then confirm the account with the letter we send you. The same login and password work in the launcher and in the game. Registration is free.

2. Launcher and client

Download the VELA launcher (Windows 10/11, about 45 GB of free space). It downloads the client and our files by itself and later fetches only changes. Choose Russian in the launcher: the game client is Russian, and the server windows follow your language. Type .lang en in the game chat to get server windows and messages in English, or .lang ru to go back. More on installation and troubleshooting: Start playing (every block has an English version, press EN in the corner).

3. When

The open beta starts on November 20, 2026 at 19:00 Moscow time (MSK, UTC+3). The server launches with a wipe on November 27, 2026: beta characters are deleted, accounts stay. Every system is open from the first minute: no stages and no roadmap. The beta guide walks through your first evening.

4. Multiclass in two paragraphs

VELA is a multiclass server on Lineage 2 Essence. You keep one hero and one class line, but you learn skills of other classes on the same hero: attacks, heals, buffs and passives are simply added to your main character, with no subclasses to swap. Your own class gives its 1-star and 2-star skills for free as you level; skills of other classes are bought with SP and adena, and the top 3-star and 4-star ones also need a star fee and Raid Marks.

At level 85 you can be reborn: the hero goes back to a low level, keeps skills and gets eternal bonuses (a Book for combat and Codices for comfort), so every next cycle is faster. Armor sets the role: robe for magic, light and heavy armor for physical fighters, so pick skills together with weapon and armor. 5. Key commands

  • .menu opens the VELA menu: development, skills, Today (what to do next), shops and everything else.
  • .learn helps you pick skills of other classes.
  • .dayboss shows the world Boss of the day.
  • .lang en or .lang ru switches the language of server windows and messages.
  • .bug your report sends a bug report to us together with your place, target and recent actions.
  • .report name reason reports a player who breaks the rules.
